Summary, etc. This study aimed to determine the level of knowledge on transitional devices in written<br/>compositions and writing difficulties of Grade 10 students in Aleosan Secondary Schools<br/>for the School Year 2021-2022. Employing the descriptive-correlational design, the study<br/>determined and described the respondents' demographic profiles such as sex, age, their<br/>level of knowledge on the usage of transitional devices in written compositions, and their<br/>writing difficulties in written compositions. Also, the study determined the significant<br/>difference in the level of knowledge on transitional devices in written compositions<br/>between male and female Grade 10 students and the significant difference in their writing<br/>difficulties. Paragraph test and writing test were the main instrument of this study. Findings<br/>revealed that, there is no significant difference in the level of knowledge on transitional<br/>devices in written composition between male and female respondents. However, they have<br/>a significant difference in their writing difficulties. Moreover, there is a significant<br/>relationship between the level of knowledge of transitional devices and the writing<br/>difficulties encountered by the respondents.
