Administrative Order 36, series of 2012, issued by the late President Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III created the National Organizing Council (NOC) for the Philippine hosting of the 2015 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meeting. When the Philippines hosted the 2015 APEC meetings, strategic policy tools have been developed to consolidate, access, retrieve, and make use of the APEC hosting data, which could aid in crafting responsive and evidence-based policies and strategic directions in APEC.
