The design, development, construction, and evaluation of a Zero Drop Solar Charge Controller were thefocus ofthe study to contribute in the development ofsolar power system. The study involved development phase which covered the technical feasibility ofthe design while the descriptive evaluative phase covered the assessment on technical performance, economic feasibility, environmental soundness, political acceptability, and socialacceptability (TEEPS) ofthe device by experts and users in the community. Basedon the design andperformance testing, it wasfoundout that the device was functional and a reliable means of charging a battery. Technical performance, economic and financial viability, environmental soundness, political acceptability and social acceptability were all found to be highly viable and valid. Therefore the developed device is feasible for business undertakings by having a 49.15 percent of ROI and a payback period of I year and 43 days.
