This study examines the peace initiatives of stakeholders in response to the intractable conflict that has been taking place in Shariff Aguak, Maguindanao and whether these efforts are aligned with the peace needs of the community. Using qualitative approach which employs key information interviews and focus group discussions, this study purposively selected forty-two informants who gave their consent to participate in this research.
