520 3 _aThe unprecedented onset of the COVID-19 pandemic challenged learning continuity: across the globe. The study aims to identify the levels of capability of State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) in Caraga Region, Philippines on instructional governance and adaptability on future-proof academic instruction as perceived by the 309 faculty members and to develop a future-proof academic instruction model for SUCs. The study found that the relationships between and among these variables are direct, strong, and significant thus, using multiple linear regression analysis, the null hypothesis that none of the variables of the capability of SUCs on instructional governance can predict a future- proof academic instruction is rejected. The model developed by this study illustrates that the predictors of future-proof academic instruction involve capabilities for academic instruction to withstand various challenges in the educational landscape.
