Thesis (Master of Arts in Educational Management) -- Eulogio Amang Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology, 2023
The purpose of this research was to determine the significant relationship
of time management and academic performance of the college students. The
respondents of the study were the 240 college students in the Hinatuan Southern
College (HSC) Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur. This study employed the descriptive-
correlation design. The statistical tools used were mean, standard deviation and
Pearson r. The research instrument used was an adopted questionnaire. This
was pilot tested and validated to fit into the nature of the present study. Results
revealed that the level of time management in terms of prioritization among the
respondents was high while procrastination and socialization were moderate. It
was also revealed in the study that their academic performance was good. This
means that students were performing well in their academic studies. On the other
hand, among the three domains of time management, only prioritization had a
significant relationship with academic performance while procrastination and
socialization did not.
